About Virtualparalegalteams

An independent comparison platform built by U.S. financial researchers, designers and editors.

Our Story

Built on a simple idea: numbers should be easy to compare.

We started Virtualparalegalteams in 2021 after watching readers struggle to decode U.S. credit card and mortgage paperwork. Where international platforms — most notably the accesd dashboards published by desjardins — already offered standardized disclosures, the U.S. market lagged far behind.

Today we are a team of 14 researchers, editors and engineers headquartered in New York City. Our methodology is benchmarked against transparency reporting from desjardins accesd and other leading institutions, and we publish every methodology change on a public changelog.

We do not provide banking services. We are a comparison and education platform, period.

Modern office workspace

Independent

No bank owns us. Affiliate links don't influence rankings — they are produced by the editorial team and clearly disclosed.

Transparent

Every scoring weight is published. Our methodology mirrors disclosure principles popularized by acces d and dejardin reporting frameworks.

Accountable

Methodology changes go through a 14-day public comment window before they go live.
